On behalf of the COCA executive committee, I’d like to welcome you the Central Ohio Counseling Association! I tend to refer to us collectively as the “COCA crew”. We are a tiny but mighty collective of passionate professional counselors and counselor trainees hoping to increase connectedness with our central Ohio community
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio and a Postdoctoral Scholar with The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center working primarily with The Suicide and Trauma Reduction Initiative for Veterans (STRIVE). I began in my roll as president on July 1st and have enjoyed my time serving COCA immensely so far. During our first executive committee meeting, our COCA crew discussed our goals and aspirations for CCCA members regarding professional development, community engagement, and continuing education opportunities.
