    McDonnell Michael

Throughout my career, I have worked in every level of care and can help my patient navigate the complicated world ahead of them, both inside and outside of the world of mental health. Having worked in crisis oriented organizations, I have seen those through their darkest times and seen their successes and ability to reach their goals, as defined by them. A firm belief I have developed is that as intimidating as whatever your particular challenge is, you can overcome it.

Having worked at various organizations, I am a firm believer that while something does not have to be perfect, it has to work. As your therapist my goal will be to join you on your journey to healing and reaching your goals. My philosophy is that if you are in therapy with me forever, I am failing and not serving you. Working at a clinic for Mood Disorders and Anxiety I have focused on various interventions to help people as opposed to being married to any single approach. I fully recognize and respect that the patient's life is their life and I am there to help with my training. We will move at your pace, whatever that is, to help get you to your goals. Having worked as a supervisor and clinician at various organizations, I have learned how to see the entire landscape of mental health and life challenges to help whoever enters my office.

Having worked in the crisis setting and high acuity settings, I have developed a firm belief that everyone has an incredible amount of resiliency and an ability to return from whatever crisis they are experiencing at that moment. It does not matter what caused a person to suffer, what matters is how we can work to get out of that challenge. Throughout my career, I have led with my heart which had led me to work to help those in my community, the LGBTQ+ Community. As a community, we have faced adversity and challenges and are rising above it. My hope is to help those who just need that extra help. It has never been in my personality not to challenge or confront whatever is coming at me and I will be the therapist beside you helping you in your fight.

    Finck Lisa

Hi. My name is Lisa and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Restorative Pathways. You might also call me an encourager, master reframer, and lifelong learner. I have worked with clients of all ages, but am primarily serving adults at this time. I have a real passion for joining others on their journeys to peace, joy, healing, growth and wellness. I work with clients experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, ADHD, life adjustments and transitions, and those who have experienced trauma. My clinical and lived experience has taught me that all people want to be seen, heard, and valued. I strive to provide that experience to each of the clients I work with. I have also learned that each client has a goal or set of objectives they hope to reach and my job is to let them lead. I have found that developing skills in the areas of self-compassion, mindfulness, boundaries, and decision making are useful for many people and often become a part of the journey.
